Become a Tutor

We are actively recruiting new Tutors for the 2024 Identiplant year across Britain, especially in Scotland, Cumbria, Kent and the south west of England.

A special recruitment event was held in Stirling, Scotland on 17 Sept 2023 to grow Identiplant in Scotland and another was held online on 30 October for anyone interested in becoming a Tutor across Britain. These were very successful, but we are still very interested in hearing from anyone in Cumbria, Kent and the south west who may be interested in the role.

The Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland

The BSBI is for everyone who cares about the wild plants of Britain and Ireland. Since 1836, we've been promoting the study, understanding and enjoyment of British and Irish botany. Identiplant officially became part of BSBI in 2022, after ten years of leadership from founder and author Brenda Harold and a team of volunteers.
